It looks like the Lingerie Football League (LFL) will not have a New England team this season.
According to Wicket Local, the LFL could not find a venue in the Boston area that was available for games starting in the fall.
The California-based league did hold tryouts in Boston back in March, but the New England Euphoria never got off the ground, the paper reports.
Officials with the LFL hope to have a team for the region in 2011.
The LFL features teams of seven women dressed in lingerie — some protective gear — taking part in full contact football.
